Free Text Case Converter

Paste or type your text, click a format, and the result appears straight away.
Eight case styles are available in one place: from standard sentence and title case
to URL-ready file name slugs. No account, no server, no data sent anywhere. The
conversion runs in your browser and the text stays on your device.

EIGHT CASE FORMATS, ONE CLICK

Sentence case, lower case, UPPER CASE, Capitalized Case, Title Case, aLtErNaTiNg
CaSe, iNVERSE cASE, and file-name-slug are all one click away. Switch between
formats at any time and the text updates straight away. The active format is shown
in the status bar so you always know which conversion is applied.

LIVE TEXT STATISTICS

A character count, word count, line count, and sentence count update in real time
as you type or paste. There is no need to run a separate word counter. The stats
reflect the converted text, not the original, so what you see is exactly what you
copy.

URL SLUG AND FILE NAME FORMAT

The file-name-slug mode converts your text to lowercase and replaces spaces with
hyphens, which is the standard format for URLs, blog post slugs, and file names.
Accented characters such as é, ö, and ü are converted to their plain equivalents,
so the result is safe to use in any URL or file path without further editing.

NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER

The converter runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you type or
paste is sent to a server, stored in a database, or logged anywhere. Close the tab
and the text is gone. The tool also works with no internet connection once the
page has loaded.

Is my text private?

Yes. The conversion happens entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or paste is
sent to a server, saved to a database, or visible to anyone else. The tool works
offline once the page has loaded, and closing the tab erases everything.

What case formats does the tool support?

Eight formats: Sentence case, lower case, UPPER CASE, Capitalized Case, Title Case,
aLtErNaTiNg CaSe, iNVERSE cASE, and file-name-slug. Each is one click away and the
conversion updates as you type, so you can try all of them on the same text without
re-pasting.

How does the file-name-slug conversion work?

Capitalized Case uppercases the first letter of every word without exception. Title
Case follows standard editorial rules and keeps short connecting words such as “and”,
“the”, “of”, “in”, and “or” in lowercase unless they appear at the start of the text.

Can I convert a Markdown table to HTML?

The slug mode converts your text to lowercase, removes characters that are not letters
or numbers, and replaces spaces and punctuation with hyphens. Accented characters like
é, ü, or ñ are normalised to their plain ASCII equivalents first, so the output is
safe to use directly in URLs, file names, and WordPress post slugs.

Can I switch between formats without re-pasting my text?

Yes. The tool keeps your text in place between format changes. Click any format button
and the same text is converted straight away. You can also keep typing after choosing
a format and the conversion updates with each keystroke.

Does it work for large blocks of text?

Yes. The tool handles up to 50,000 characters at once, which covers most articles,
product descriptions, and documentation pages. The conversion is fast regardless of
length, and the character, word, line, and sentence counts update in real time.

How do I copy the converted text?

Click the Copy button in the bottom right corner. The full converted text goes to your
clipboard in one click, ready to paste anywhere. The button label changes to confirm
when the copy is done.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Paste works from the mobile keyboard and all eight format buttons remain accessible
on a phone or tablet. The layout adjusts to fit smaller screens, so the tool is usable
whenever you need a quick case change on the go.
