This policy applies to the website themnific.com and all interactions related to it (purchases, support, account use). It does not cover third-party storefronts (ThemeForest, dannci.com) or their data practices.
As a company registered in the Slovak Republic, we are subject to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Slovak data protection law. The supervisory authority for data protection in Slovakia is the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic), dataprotection.gov.sk.
1. What Data We Collect and Why
1.1 Purchase and Account Data
When you make a purchase, Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record) collects your name, email address, billing address, and payment details on our behalf. We receive from Lemon Squeezy only the data necessary to fulfill your order and manage your account:
- Name and email address — to create your customer account, deliver download access, and send transactional emails (order confirmation, receipt, download links, renewal notices)
- Billing country — to verify your location for tax purposes and apply the correct VAT rate
- Order history — to manage your license entitlements and membership status
Legal basis: Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) — this data is necessary to deliver what you purchased.
We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Those are handled exclusively by Lemon Squeezy and their payment processor (Stripe).
1.2 Support Communications
When you contact us by email, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this data solely to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to resolve a technical issue with a purchased theme.

1.3 Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site.

1.5 Data You Do Not Need to Provide
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal data such as national identification numbers, health information, or financial information beyond what Lemon Squeezy requires for payment processing.
2. How Long We Keep Your Data

We delete or anonymize personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
3. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We share data with third parties only to the extent necessary to operate the Site and fulfill your purchase:
Lemon Squeezy
Role: Merchant of Record and payment processor

Purpose: Processing payments, issuing invoices, handling VAT, managing subscriptions

Purpose: Website hosting and infrastructure
Location: DreamHost, LLC, US servers
Email Service Provider
Role: Data processor
Data shared: Name, email address
Purpose: Sending newsletters, product updates, and promotional emails (only where explicit marketing consent is provided)
Location: Mailchimp, US
Google Fonts (if applicable)
If the Site or any theme demo loads fonts directly from Google Fonts, your IP address may be transmitted to Google’s servers. Where possible, we self-host fonts to avoid this. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
We require all third-party processors to handle your data in accordance with GDPR and to provide sufficient guarantees of appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
4. International Data Transfers
We are based in the Slovak Republic (EU). Where your data is transferred to or processed by third parties located outside the European Economic Area (such as Lemon Squeezy in the United States), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or reliance on an adequacy decision where applicable.
5. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — you may ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Right to restriction of processing — you may ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability — you may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Right to lodge a complaint — you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (dataprotection.gov.sk) or the supervisory authority in your EU country of residence.

6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include:
- HTTPS encryption on all Site connections
- Access controls limiting who within our operation can access customer data
- Reliance on Lemon Squeezy and Stripe for PCI-DSS compliant payment processing — we never handle raw card data
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and we are not liable for security incidents outside our reasonable control (see also Section 11 of our Terms of Service).
7. Children
The Site is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at [PRIVACY EMAIL] and we will delete it promptly.
8. Links to Other Sites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including theme demo pages or documentation hosted elsewhere. This Privacy Policy applies only to themnific.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party site.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Where changes are material, we will notify active customers by email. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
